SMALL GROUP MINISTRIES Adult Bible Studies A mid-week opportunity for adults to gather for short-term Bible studies. These classes are offered several times a year studying several different topics. Food Service The Food Service Committee is composed of five teams who prepare a meal for the Dickinson Rotary club each Wednesday. Each volunteer works only one Wednesday a month, and the men’s team cook on fifth Wednesdays. The Food Service Committee also assists the church in several functions a year. Funds raised are used for church needs. New members are joyfully welcomed! Prayer Group The Prayer Group is a dedicated group which meets every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in room 19 to attend to the prayer needs of the church and our community. Prayer Blankets are symbols of the covenant between the individual and the Prayer Group that the group will be praying for them. The small blankets are made by members of the congregation and blessed in a special service before they are presented. Prayer warriors are always needed, and new members are welcomed. |
